Wanted: trainee in Azerbaijan project

Sustainable tourism project in Azerbaijan looks for a trainee for Spring/Summer 2014. The project develops sustainable entrepreneurship and promotes local handicrafts in rural Azerbaijan.

The trainee will work together with the local partner organization
Ekoloji Tarazliq in the capital Baku and in the project target regions in rural areas.

Tasks for the trainee:
planning and organizing training in sustainable tourism, producing marketing materials for home-stay business and local craftsmen, giving support for local tourist information centers.

New ideas and methods based on trainee’s skills and interests are highly appreciated. In addition, the project can offer topics for Bachelor Thesis.

Requirements:
good knowledge of English, ability to individual work, intercultural communication and working skills. Knowledge of Russian language is an asset.

The lenght of the training period is 3 months. No salary is paid, but the project helps to cover some of the costs. The trainee is encouraged to apply for training grant from home university or other traveling scholarship.
